Starting as of today, February 25, the ferry company Makri Travel will once again be operating routes between Greece and Turkey. This route has been inactive since March 2020. The Sea Star Makri vessel will travel between Fethiye and Rhodes in the Dodecanese island group and the schedule for the first ferry trips will be at the same time every Friday and Sunday.
On Friday, February 25, the Sea Star Makri vessel from Makri Travel will depart from the port of Fethiye at 8:30 (Turkish time). It will take around 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to Rhodes. Then at 16:00 (Greek time) the ferry will depart Rhodes and return to Turkey. Keep in mind Turkey is one hour ahead of Greece.
On Sunday, February 27, the Sea Star Makri will depart from Fethiye at 8:30 (Turkish time). Again at 16:00 (Greek time) it will depart Greece and return to Turkey.
On Friday, March 4, the ship will depart from the port of Fethiye at 8:30 (Turkish time). After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, it will arrive at the port of Rhodes. At 16:00 (Greek time) the ferry will depart from Rhodes and return to Fethiye.
On Sunday, March 6, the ferry will depart from Fethiye at 8:30 (Turkish time). At 16:00 (Greek time) it will leave Greece and return to Turkey.
This schedule (8:30 Fethiye departure / 16:00 Rhodes departure) continues March 11 – 13, March 18 – 20, and March 25 – 27.
