Mark your calendars! There are lots of fun things happening around Greece during the month of October. Here are some of the most exciting upcoming events.
For the very first time, the Municipality of Mykonos (in collaboration with the Educational and Excursion Sporting Club M.E.A.S. TRITON and with the support of the EAS SEGAS Cyclades Sports Union), will be organizing the Mykonos Running Festival. The events will include an international half marathon race as well as a 10km and a 2.5km race.
The Spetses Mini Marathon 2022 program includes three running races (5km, 10km, and 25km distance) and three swimming races (1500, 3000, and 5000m distance). The Argo-Saronic island of Spetses is close enough to the Greek capital that you can visit just for the day!
The KIDOT (Kids of Tomorrow) Festival is an event full of energy, creativity, and imagination. It’s become one of the city’s most important events for parents and children to attend. This festival in Thessaloniki is truly an event for all ages – including children, teenagers, and adults who are professionally related or active with children and want to be informed about the latest developments in this field.
More than 80 specially selected boutique wineries from around Greece will be presenting their product in Athens at the Athens Wine and Art Festival. Of these 80 wineries, there are some that will be exhibiting their work and creations to the wine-loving public for the first time.
The first Olympic Yacht Show will take place this month amongst the renovated facilities of Olympic Marine. This marina is located in Lavrio and is known for being one of the most well-organized in the entire Mediterranean.
