Greek ferry company Hellenic Seaways has announced that it will increase its offering of highspeed vessels for the start of the summer season.
Starting on June 12, the Santorini Palace vessel (built in 2005) from Minoan Lines, will cover the route from Heraklion to Piraeus, with stops along the way in Santorini, Naxos, Paros, Mykonos, and Syros. It will operate every day of the week except on Wednesdays.
The Flying Cat 3 was built in 1998, although has since been completed renovated. Starting June 18 until July 2, it will operate the route from Rafina to Tinos, Mykonos, and Naxos (and vice versa).
The Hellenic Highspeed vessel was built in 1997 and will start operating on the line from Piraeus to Leros, with stops in Mykonos and Ag. Kirikos. It will spend the night docked in the port of Leros. Starting July 2, this ship will run daily (except on Saturdays) until October 3rd. Notably, every Wednesday and Friday there will be an additional stop at Fourni.
The Highspeed 4 was built in 2000 and is one of the largest and most popular highspeed options in the Hellenic Seaways fleet. This vessel will start operating the Piraeus-Paros-Naxos-Koufonisi–Amorgos (Katapola) line on July 2, 2021. The ship will depart every morning at 9:30 (except Wednesdays) and return every afternoon at 17:20 from Paros to Piraeus.
