Since last March, Greek ferry company Ionion Pelagos has had the same weekly schedule. The following timetable will continue to remain in place until April 11, 2022.
The Ionio Pelagos vessel will depart from the Ionian island of Ithaki on Monday at 14:15, heading to Astakos which is located on the mainland. The trip duration is approximately three hours and five minutes.
On Mondays the ferry will stay docked in the port of Astakos overnight.
The remaining days of the week (except Sunday) will all follow the same schedule. The ferry will depart from Ithaki and go to Astakos at 9:00.
At 12:45 on these days it will leave from Astakos and return to Ithaki.
On Sunday there will be only one route operating, going from Astakos to Ithaki at 18:00.
However, now Ionion Pelagos has announced an updated ferry schedule that will be in place from April 12 until April 30, 2022.
For four days out of the week starting from April 12, the Ionio Pelagos vessel will depart from Ithaki at 9:00 and go to Astakos.
It will return to Ithaki from Astakos on these days at 12:45.
On Thursday and Friday during this time period, the ferry will depart from Ithaki two times per day. Once at 9:00 and then again at 16:15.
The Ionio Pelagos vessel will return to Ithaki from Astakos on both days at 12:45.
The ship will depart from Ithaki on Sundays at 15:45. It will remain in Astakos for the rest of the day.
