Spring is slowly receding and in a very short time our minds will be thinking more about outings! In Greece, fortunately, we are lucky enough to be able to make many escapes to the dozens of islands that surround us and are full of unique travel experiences! Islands with a lot of people or less islands with unique landscapes and endless nature, islands that offer adventure and activities. Which of these are ideal for your first outing this summer?

In Hydra for the instagrammatic landscapes:
The walks in the picturesque harbour rival the wonderful alleys in the hinterland of Hydra. The weather may not yet be warm enough for swimming in the sea but there is plenty to do on the island.
The classic walks and eateries can give way to the adventure you will experience if you make the hike to the tip of the island, where the Monastery of Zourda is located (expect to spend about 3 hours).
In Andros for exploration
Just 2 hours from Athens, Andros is the island that will not disappoint you if you are a fan of exploration.
The second largest island of the Cyclades is full of paths for everyone, gorges, rivers, vineyards, cypress trees, and thermal springs. It is definitely the joy of exploration and if you are that type of person then it suits you perfectly!
In Naxos for roadtrips
Yes, you read that right, the island with the wonderful potatoes and the amazing cheeses might have the most beautiful mountain villages of the Cyclades. Of course we are referring to the island of Naxos!
