Exciting news! There will now be a ferry connection between Thessaloniki and the Sporades islands. Even though it’s the second-largest city in Greece, for years Thessaloniki has lacked a diverse number of ferry routes. That’s finally changing.
Starting June 18th, the ferry company Seajets will be operating this new route. Starting from the port of Thessaloniki, it will take approximately three hours to reach the first stop, which is the island of Skiathos. Then there will be short stops at the ports of Skopelos, Alonissos, and finally Mantoudi in Evia. Afterward, the ferry will return to Thessaloniki.
There will be three itineraries per week, divided into four separate periods of time.
Every Monday and Friday during this period the departure will take place at 7:00 and on Saturday at 7:45.
During these two time frames, the Monday departure will take place at 7:00 while Wednesday and Friday’s departure will be at 7:45
Since this period of time is the high season, there will be four sailings per week. Every Monday and Friday the ship will depart at 7:00 and on Wednesdays and Saturdays, it will depart at 7:45.
As the summer comes to an end, the schedule will change once again. During this period, every Monday and Friday the ship will depart at 7:00 and on Saturdays at 7:45.
