As one of the most popular destinations in Greece, Mykonos has more than its fair share of hotels. From luxury options full of opulence to family-friendly spots and budget stays, there’s a hotel for every occasion. With that in mind, we’ve put together ten fantastic Mykonos hotels where you can indulge during your ferry trip to this Cycladic island. Whether you’re doing a spot of island hopping and staying overnight after booking your ferry tickets with Ferryscanner or spending a few days here, the hotels on this list cover all occasions.

When it comes to rooms, guests have a choice of sizes between 32 and 110 sq m. Whether you’re staying in the standard room or relaxing in a suite, you can expect a Beige-white palette, orthopedic bedding from Simmons, goose-feather duvets, and quality Greek linen, as well as iPod docks and 32-50 inch TVs. Suites also feature whirlpools and steam cabins.

You’ll find two restaurants at the hotel. One a casual poolside spot named Aqua e Sole, where lunch is served. The other an upmarket Dolphins of Delos. There’s also a lobby-level bar open until 3 am.

2) Cali Mykonos

Guests can make use of the private beach and yacht service, taking you to neighbors Naxos and Delos.

3) Boheme

Address: Mykonos Town, Mikonos 846 00, Greece

Boheme hasn’t been on the scene as long as many other Mykonos hotels, yet it’s quickly established itself as one of the best on the island. Let’s start with the stunning sea views. They look out onto the Aegean sea, offering a palette of crystal-clear blues. Even better, you can admire them from your hotel room balcony, terrace, or rooftop pool. As you’d come to expect with many Mykonos hotels, the decor is minimalist with the odd bold addition, such as twisted rope lights.

Boheme enjoys a location just a short distance from the unique Mykonian Windmills and the popular Little Venice, and there are suites for guests featuring sea views, in-room bars, and espresso machines. Services at the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, boutique garden, lounge bar, and a la carte restaurant serving up a wide variety of authentic Greek dishes.

4) Leto Hotel

Address: Leto Hotel, Mikonos 846 00, Greece

Built in 1956, Leto Hotel was one of the first luxury hotels on the Aegean sea. It has stood the test of time with a modern makeover that features stylish rooms and sea views. Leto Hotel was the VIP hangout for the likes of Christian Dior and Monica Bellucci, and you’ll still find those exclusive vibes thanks to high walls that shield you from the crowds.

Other luxury features include a seawater swimming pool pumped from the sea outside, while the bar sits in the lush gardens and is one of the most sought-after spots in Chora. Try the signature Leto cocktail while you soak in the peaceful surroundings.

5) Once in Mykonos

Once in Mykonos

Another new addition to the island, Once in Mykonos is built into the steep hillside of the western bay and has some of the best views on the island. There are 59 suites, each with a terrace and sea view – perfect for sipping a drink in the evening while looking out onto the ocean. Even better, you can access the rooms directly from a private pool, a unique feature at Once in Mykonos.

The hotel caters to a range of guests, from families to partygoers seeking a base for their nighttime adventures. If you’re feeling peckish, superstar chef Marion Toutountzoglou serves innovative dishes and takes inspiration from his travels, and combines them with traditional Greek flavors. This spot is ideal for relaxing and unwinding away from the buzz.

Guests can enjoy several swimming pools, all of which are linked by a triangle of paths lined with sculptures and artwork. There’s also a restaurant serving Mediterranean-inspired dishes. The hotel’s success has seen it open another property in Santorini

7) Belvedere Hotel

Belvedere Hotel

Stay at the Belvedere Hotel and make the most of a secluded location with beautiful views over Chora, Mykonos’ picturesque capital. Here, you’ll find the world’s first outdoor sushi bar. Enjoy fresh sushi before heading out for an evening of exploration in Mykonos.

There’s also a Six Senses spa and sapphire-hued pool for guests who want to unwind and relax with treatments and a spot of swimming and sunbathing. The rooms are located across seven buildings, where the design is that of a small Greek village. Each one features immaculate white walls, warm wooden furniture, curved surfaces, and marble bathrooms designed to impress.

8) Santa Marina

Address: Ornos Bay, Mikonos 846 00, Greece

Mykonos is largely known as a party island with wild nightlife and events taking place until the early hours of the morning. But it does have another side, with Santa Marina catering to the quieter life and, most importantly, families. The hotel itself is family-run by owner Christiana Papageorgiou, the daughter of the estate’s owner.

You’ll find bamboo furnishings and rattan textures within the hotel’s smart settings. It’s also free of any pretentiousness, and parents can let their kids loose on the grounds to have the time of their lives. But that doesn’t mean this spot is nothing but noisy children; it caters to both worlds, letting adults soak up the beautiful views of Ornos Bay thanks to its position perched on a cliff. There’s also a private beach with shallows, palm trees, and domed wicker daybeds.

9) Super Paradise Suites and Rooms
