Can I get a refund if I decide to cancel my trip?

Most ferry companies offer full refunds for ticket cancellations made well in advance. On the Ferryscanner website, you can check the free cancellation period during the booking process. If you cancel within this timeframe, no service fees will apply. However, some tickets may be partially refundable or non-refundable, depending on the ferry company’s policy.

With the new ‘Manage My Booking’ feature, you can cancel tickets for most ferry companies directly on our website by accessing your dashboard, selecting the tickets you want to cancel, and following the on-screen instructions.

Many ferry companies also offer the option to convert your booking into an Open Dated Ticket, valid for a specified period (usually up to one year).
