Ichnusa Lines

Ichnusa Lines is a company founded in 2021, on the initiative of two historic Genoese companies, the Finsea Group and the San Giorgio del Porto shipyards, respectively active in the logistics and ship repair sectors. Their common denominator, what binds their activities and entrepreneurial histories, has always been the sea, as the vocation and scenario on which people’s lives and work unfold. From the sharing of these corporate values, Genova Trasporti Marittimi was born, the company that today manages Ichnusa Lines.

About Ichnusa Lines’ Service

Ichnusa Lines operates on a single route: between Santa Teresa Gallura, in Italy, and Bonifacio, in France. During the operating season, which runs from April to October, Ichnusa Lines offers three daily trips along this route. The frequency of these services guarantees passengers ample options for planning their trips, offering flexibility and convenience in the connection between Sardinia and Corsica.

Ichnusa Lines’ Vessels

The fleet consists of the ship Ichnusa, specifically designed to navigate the difficult waters of the Bocche di Bonifacio. The ship is 64 metres long and 13 metres wide. It is equipped with an advanced stabilisation system that guarantees a comfortable and safe voyage even in difficult weather conditions. The ship’s structure is optimised for short crossings, with a main salon that can accommodate up to 325 passengers and a garage capable of accommodating around 50 cars, corresponding to 200 metres of space.

On board the Ichnusa ship, passengers can enjoy various facilities, including a bar area with coffee and breakfast and lunch options. For the little ones, there is a dedicated play area for entertainment with educational activities.

In addition to specific stations for passengers with reduced mobility, the ship is equipped with a lift that facilitates the connection between the garage and the main salon, overcoming architectural barriers and ensuring easy access for all.
