Superfast Ferries Check-In & Boarding
Arrival Time
To comply with ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security) regulations, all passengers must arrive at the embarkation area at least 3 hours before departure to complete check-in and boarding procedures smoothly.
eTicket Options
eTickets are available through Web Check-In. Passengers must present their eTicket along with a valid passport or ID before boarding.
Web Check-In
Web check-in is available from 48 to 2 hours before departure. Once completed, passengers will receive their eTicket via email for easy boarding.
Paper Ticket
Paper tickets are available and can be collected from our office at Miltiadou 7, 6th floor, 105 60, Athens. However, we recommend avoiding paper tickets due to environmental concerns and potential difficulties with ticket changes.
Booking Confirmation
Use your booking confirmation code to collect your boarding pass or physical ticket at the ferry company’s ticket booth before departure.
Vehicles on Board
Eight out of nine Superfast Ferries vessels accommodate vehicles. Passengers can bring bicycles, motorcycles, cars, campers, and trucks. Check fares during booking or contact support for assistance.
Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs)
Passengers traveling with Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) must declare them when booking. Accepted AFVs include:
- Hybrid and fully electric vehicles with accumulators (batteries).
- Vehicles using liquefied or compressed gaseous fuels (LPG, natural gas).
AFV Safety Regulations:
- Electric vehicle batteries must not exceed 40% charge capacity.
- LPG and natural gas fuel tanks must not exceed 50% capacity.
- The same rules apply to unaccompanied vehicles.
- Drivers must immediately notify the crew if their AFV displays any warning alerts.
Required Documents
All passengers must present their boarding pass, valid passport or ID, vehicle license (if applicable), and any necessary travel documents before boarding. Discounted ticket holders must provide proof of eligibility.
The company reserves the right to deny boarding if a passenger lacks valid travel documents or cannot verify their identity. Passengers denied entry by immigration authorities must return to their departure point at their own expense. Infants and children also require official identification.
Security & Prohibited Items
All passengers and items brought on board are subject to security checks. Refusal to comply will result in denied boarding and notification to port authorities. The transport of weapons, explosives, flammable substances, and hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.
Early Disembarkation
If a passenger chooses to disembark before departure, they must take all luggage and vehicles. However, removing vehicles may not always be possible due to pre-arranged parking positions in the vessel’s garage.

A 20% Family & Friends discount is available for 3 or 4 passengers traveling together in the same AA3/AB3 or A4/AB4 cabin, and it also applies to one vehicle per booking (excluding trailers, motorcycles, and campers over 10m).

Infants 0-4 travel for free.

Kids between 4 and 12 get 50% off their ticket, and 13-24 get -20%.

Superfast Ferries Pet Policy
Pets are welcome aboard Superfast Ferries, ensuring a comfortable journey for both passengers and their furry companions. Pet-friendly cabins and onboard kennels are available but must be reserved in advance. A pet ticket is required and should be booked during reservation. Pet travel guidelines:
- Pets over 10 kg must stay in the ship’s kennel.
- Pets under 10 kg can remain in their owner’s kennel.
- A muzzle is required for all dogs when outside designated pet areas.
- Service and therapy dogs are exempt from kennel and muzzle requirements but must be leashed and accompanied by valid certification.
- Pets are not allowed indoors (bars, restaurants, or public areas) or to roam freely on deck.
- Only up to five (5) pets may accompany a single passenger per European regulations.
Required Documents:
- A valid pet passport, health certificate, and rabies immunization record (EU citizens must carry an EU Pet Passport).
- Pet owners must comply with all entry regulations and should consult a vet or travel agent before departure.
Owners are fully responsible for their pet’s care, safety, hygiene, and behavior during the trip. Unaccompanied pets are not permitted. For more details, contact customer support before traveling.

Superfast Ferries Luggage Allowance
Each passenger is allowed up to 50 kg of luggage, ensuring a stress-free journey. Valuables up to €500 can be handed to the Purser’s Office for safekeeping, as the company is not responsible for lost money or valuables left unattended in open areas or cabins. Access to vehicles is restricted during the voyage, so ensure you take everything you need before departure. Report lost items to the Reception Desk on board or contact Customer Service for assistance.
